LOST CHILDREN of the LONDON BLITZ

LOST CHILDREN OF THE BLITZ: by brian zelley

The 18 year old Lilian Selley became a casuality of the LONDON BLITZ
in March 1941, but there were thousands more of all ages including
many pre-teens.

 There  was 15 year old ALEXANDER MILLS BROWN.
He died at the Walklings shelter in Lambeth April 17, 1941.
Another shelter case was the siblings Patricia age 2 and
RONALD WILLIAM CORY - 13 years lost at the
Stanfield House Shelter  September 24, 1940.
EDITH AKERMAN was 16 in November 1940, she would
not be there to enjoy Christmas or her 17 th. birthday.
She would die at Hillworth Road.

According to  "The History Place" site over 5000 children
were lost during the Blitz between September 1940 and May 1941.
